Active Fieldbus Distributor Overview
The MCAFD series of active fieldbus distributors is suitable for FF-H1 and PROFIBUS PA applications. The distributors connect field devices to the system using a trunk-and-branch topology. The MCAFD4/MCAFD8/MCAFD12 distributors have 4/8/12 branches each, with built-in automatic bus termination. LED status indicators provide quick diagnosis of short circuits in the main and branch lines, automatically isolating faulty sections. The distributor's multiple protection functions ensure safe system operation.The distributor's has passed the explosion-proof certification and can be used in Zone 2.
