Microcyber Corporation has customized many built-in protocol converting modules for the majority of field device manufacturers, supporting to connect MODBUS RTU protocol (hereinafter referred to as “MODBUS” protocol) slave device into a variety of fieldbus system. The function of M0310 built-in MODBUS to HART module (hereinafter referred to as "HART module") is to convert MODBUS slave device into HART slave device.

M0310 Modbus to HART embedded module is one of the Microcyber M series embedded modules developed by Microcyber Corporation. By embedding M0310 into the user device with Modbus RTU communication capability, the Modbus slave can be transformed into a HART slave.

As a general product, HART module must face the different interface characteristics (slave address, communication rate, communication verification method, etc.) and data storage method (data register address, data type, byte order, etc.) of various MODBUS devices, and also end user's requirements for HART dynamic variable allocation (data registers are mapped to device variables, and device variables are mapped to dynamic variables), and these can be reconfigured by the device manufacturer.
