The G1003 is a DIN-rail-mounted gateway that converts between HART and Modbus RTU protocols. As one of the Microcyber G-series protocol conversion gateways, it can seamlessly integrate existing HART devices into Modbus bus networks.

G1003 HART To MODBUS Gateway Function overview
The HART to Modbus gateway contains a HART master channel and a Modbus slave channel. HART master channel is in charge of obtaining HART slave data in HART network, and write the obtained data into data area inside the gateway; Modbus slave channel is responsible for receiving request from Modbus master station, including requests during configuring gateway parameter and loop reading data area inside the gateway; By the HART to Modbus gateway, easily realize the function that Modbus master station accesses to HART network data.

G1003 HART To MODBUS Gateway Application
The gateway works according to the configured parameters, cyclically obtaining data from slave devices in the HART network and storing it in the internal data area of the gateway. At the same time, the Modbus channel waits for requests from the Modbus master and responds; In addition, in this mode, the gateway also supports sending non cyclic HART commands to slave devices in the HART channel network through the Modbus channel. The Modbus channel communicates according to the communication parameters configured by the user.
