The temperature transmitter is mainly used for temperature measurement, and the following aspects should be paid attention to when selecting models.


1. Selection of the measurement range of the temperature sensor

The temperature measurement range is the minimum temperature value and the maximum temperature value that need to be specified for the actual temperature. When selecting, the required temperature range needs to be relaxed to 10% or 20% (depending on the working conditions). During the normal measurement process of the temperature sensor, The minimum and maximum temperature values can be effectively measured.


2. Selection of temperature sensor measurement accuracy

The measurement accuracy is the error between the actual measurement and the standard value of the temperature sensor, and it is also the accuracy of a constant sensor. Microcyber corporation adopts A+ grade PT100 or PT1000, and the sensor conforms to ±(0.15+0.002|t|) .


3. Measured medium requirements

The temperature sensor probe is usually made of 304 stainless steel, and the food grade is made of 316 stainless steel, and adopts the micro-assembly (MPT) process and exquisite laser sealing and welding, which can measure liquid, solid (powder) or vapor (gas) gas.


4. Temperature sensor installation requirements

The temperature sensor is connected by the temperature measuring probe, the connection interface and the shell. When measuring the temperature in the pipeline, the length of the probe should be on the center line of the pipeline (that is, the insertion depth of the protection tube should be half the diameter of the pipe). When the measured medium has a flow velocity, it should be on the centerline of the pipeline and opposite to the direction of the measured fluid. Strainers with bends are installed at pipe bends. Common specifications of link interface such as M20*1.5, M27*2 thread or flange connection.


5. Protection of temperature sensor

In the harsh working conditions of the temperature sensor, the waterproof, dust-proof, moisture-proof and anti-collision requirements of the sensor are required. The temperature sensor of Microcyber corporation adopts the micro-assembly (MPT) process and exquisite laser sealing and welding, and the conventional protection reaches IP65. The protection level of the type temperature transmitter can reach IP68, and it can be fully used in water. Please specify when ordering with special requirements.


6. Selection of electrical signal of temperature sensor

The temperature sensor converts the temperature value into a power signal and transmits it to the measurement and control system such as the instrument or PLC. Microcyber corporation  temperature sensor can provide: temperature PT100 signal; current type: 4-20mA; voltage type: 0-5VDC, 1-5VDC, 0.5~4.5V, 0-10VDC and other signal types.


7. It means that the temperature sensor and the measured medium are connected by thread. There are various thread specifications for customers to choose from. It is also the specification that needs to pay attention to the connection method when ordering.


8. Selection of electrical interface

It refers to the signal data line matching the temperature sensor and the measurement and control system. There are various specifications of electrical connectors for customers to choose from. It is also the specification of the electrical connection method that needs to be paid attention to when ordering.


9. Temperature control options
