Microcyber Corporation's MCAFD Series Fieldbus Distributor Is EAC Certified and Drivies Eurasian Market Expansion

08-04-2026

Microcyber’s MCAFD series fieldbus distributors (MCAFD4, MCAFD8) officially obtained EAC certification from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAU) based on their superior product performance and reliable quality. This certification signifies that the products fully comply with TR CU 020/2011 "Electromagnetic Compatibility of Technical Equipment" regulations in terms of electromagnetic compatibility, granting them a market passport to freely enter the Eurasian Economic Union member states, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.

Active Fieldbus Distributor

Core Functions

The fieldbus distributor is designed for FF-H1 (FOUNDATION Fieldbus) and PROFIBUS PA applications and features the following key characteristics:

· 4/8 independent branch channels: Supports trunk-and-spur topology and can connect up to 4/8 fieldbus devices simultaneously , greatly simplifying cabling.

· Comprehensive fault protection: Both the main line and branch lines are equipped with short circuit and overload protection, automatically isolating faulty sections to ensure the normal operation of the rest of the system.

· Intelligent diagnostics and status indication: Built-in LED indicator lights can quickly identify the main/branch connection status, short circuit faults, and fieldbus terminal activation status.

· Automatic fieldbus terminal: No manual setup is required; the system automatically adapts, reducing the risk of installation errors.

· Reverse wiring protection: effectively prevents damage to equipment due to reverse polarity connection.

· Wide operating temperature range: It can operate stably in environments ranging from -40℃ to +85℃, with a protection level of IP65, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.

· Low power consumption and high drive capability: the maximum output current of the main line is 1A, the maximum output current of a single branch line is 60mA, and the voltage drop of the main line is less than 0.1V.

Fieldbus Distributor

Typical Application Scenarios

This fieldbus distributor is widely applicable in industrial automation fields that require highly reliable fieldbus networks, with typical scenarios including:

· Oil and Gas: Petrochemical Plants, Pipeline Instrumentation, Tank Farm Monitoring

· Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries: Process Control, Reactor and Valve Island Integration

· Electricity and New Energy: Boiler, Steam Turbine, and Auxiliary Equipment Control Systems

· Water treatment and environmental engineering: pumping stations, filters, and chemical dosing systems

· Smart Manufacturing and Automobiles: Networked Production Line Equipment and Robotic Workstations

With the fieldbus distributor , users can build a standard trunk-and-spur fieldbus network, which saves on cable and cable tray costs while enabling rapid fault isolation and diagnosis, significantly improving system availability.
